The Church
of St. Agnes invites you to take an active role in the life of our parish.
Consider checking out one of the many groups listed below or consider
starting your own group. We welcome your participation.
Altar & Rosary Society
Please come and join us!
We joyfully invite all women of Saint Agnes to join the Altar and Rosary Society and receive the spiritual and social benefits offered to its members. Come join us to pray for and serve our beloved Church of Saint Agnes!
We meet on the first Wednesday of most months. We begin by praying the rosary in the chapel at 4:50pm, continue by attending 5:15pm Mass and then serve refreshments in Schuler Hall where we have time to relax and enjoy each other's company. We then hold our business meeting which typically lasts about an hour (Bible study sometimes occurs before the Society meeting).
As an Altar and Rosary Society member, you will have the chance to meet and serve Saint Agnes parishioners during our annual Advent Bake Sale in December and Ice Cream Social in August, as well as serving at our monthly coffee, donut and egg sandwich Sundays and the Fall Festival.
In addition to these parish social events, members of the Altar and Rosary society assist with many other important roles caring for the precious articles used on and around the altar. These tasks include weekly cleaning of the upper church and chapel, laundering and care of altar linens, sewing new altar linens, repairing existing linens and vestments, and baking Eucharistic breads.
Membership is Easy!
Just come to say the Rosary, offer Mass, and meet the Altar and Rosary Society at one of our monthly meetings. You can visit and learn more and sign up right there. For more information, contact our Membership Chair, Jennifer Murphy, by emailing jmurphy110@comcast.net.

Men's Club
The St.
Agnes Men's Club meets every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM. The Men's
Club has served the Parish since 1935 by assisting at social functions like
the Fall Festival, having fund raisers like Egg Roll & Doughnut Sundays,
and a wide variety of other activities.
Our
organization is here to help St. Agnes and the St. Agnes schools. Please
prayerfully consider helping the Men's Club in their very important mission.

Altar Servers
The Church
of St. Agnes has long been well known for the magnificence and splendor of
our traditional celebration of the Mass. The richness of these celebrations
are punctuated by the well honed and fine tuned training our corps of altar
servers. Boys wishing to join this army of servers must be at least 10 years
old or in the fifth grade. They should register for training through the
parish office and will then be invited to attend training as new teams form
in the fall at the beginning of each new school year.

Legion of Mary
The Legion
of Mary is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic
Church. It has been active in the United States since 1931 and has been
approved by the last 6 Popes. Members become instruments of the Holy Spirit
working under the mantle of Mother Mary. Works include door-to-door
evangelization, parishioner visitation, sidewalk counseling outside abortion
centers and many other works. The Legion of Mary is, in essence, an extension
of the heart and hands of the pastor. Many blessings come to members of the
Legion of Mary.
We meet
once a week on Tuesday at 6:15 PM in the Bride's room of the Church Hall for
prayer, planning and discussion in a friendly setting. Please come to our
meetings as a guest and see what we are all about.
